A composite material of polylactide, a small amount of a petroleum-based polyester and wood fibres (30%). It possesses high mechanical strength thanks to the excellent binding of the wood fibres and the polymer blend. This is comparable with standard fibre-reinforced polymers. It also displays good thermal insulation and conforms to the standards governing toys. Specific gravity (p): 1.0 g/cube cm. Ratio of renewable raw materials: > 80 Percent. Industrially compostable: Yes. Tensile strength at yield: 5206. Elongation at yield: 3.4 Percent. Elongation at break: 3.6. Modulus of elasticity (Et): 573 kpsi. Heat deflection temperature HDT/A: 161.

Bondable PTFE sheet is etched on one side. (Polytetrafluoroethylene) Sometimes known as Teflon, it has established itself as a tough, durable polymer, possessing a unique combination of electrical, chemical, mechanical and thermal properties unmatched by any other single substance. Maximum operating temperature -350 degrees to 500 degrees F . This material should not be heated to temperatures above 752 degrees F (400 degrees C). Thicknesses (0.015 inches, 0.030 inches and 0.060 inches) are available. Sheets are etched on one side to make them bondable to other materials with most general purpose epoxies. Our stock sizes are cut from rolls and the material may be slightly curved, but it can easily be flattened by applying pressure to the whole surface.

Polysulfone PSO (UDEL Brand) is considered to be in the class of Superpolymers since it maintains its physical properties at temperatures above 400 F. Polysulfone is a clear amber amorphous thermoplastic that is stable, heat resistant and self extinguishing. It has a UL-rated continuous temperature of 320 F. It is very rigid with a flex modulus of 400,000 psi with a tensile strength of over 10,000 psi at yield. It has a high dielectric strength and low dissipation factor. PSO is highly resistant to mineral acid, alkali, and salt solutions. PSO is attacked by polar organic solvents and chlorinated and aromatic hydrocarbons.
